Around 3PM – VPD was alerted to a car in the median of the road at 29 and Meadows with a man passed out in the drivers seat of a running car. VPD was busy with an armed robbery call and had a delay in responding. Fire and medics could not respond until VPD was available due because it was not safe for them. as VPD arrived the driver had been awaken by the IHART team and drove off. He was pulled over on meadows drive and arrested and his car was towed. We believe this was a DUI.
