2/22 – 5:24AM – a 911 caller stated there was a man laying on the ground at the Dog park on ascot parkway. VPD stated that the man had a major head wound and are investigating this death but have not called it a crime just yet. A local news outlet released a story on this stating what they “HEARD” but have not stated any facts. They also released the victims name before next of kin could be contacted. Please disregarding anything else you have read on this until VPD sends out a press release.
